We were first timers last weekend at the Clapham Common Ben& Jerrys Do, but were certainly very popular. I lost count how many times our good Lever Machine pulled shots but the crowd just kept coming.
Dancing cows are always amusing to watch but the price for best looker goes to the Alpacas, a class on their own.
As a combo, music, ice cream and coffee, a clear winner.

Corporate Event No1 in 2011

We just had a lovely corporate breakfast event serving the range of our organic hot drinks, juices and homemade lemonade accompanied by artisan pastries. We really enjoyed the atmosphere and even better received the following comments.

Further to the London Green Fair

In four words: It was en Mass! Sun, Turnout, number of Coffees, Rain, Cakes and Good Mood.

And that after a slight accident squashed our hopper. Luckily enough Bubbles had the genius idea to use a cup instead. Patent is pending.

What followed was a true ‘throwdown’: Latte art with Gale force winds: great fun.

2 Days in Regents Park

What do 75mm of Titantium mean to you?

Mahlkoenig , Mazzer and now Anfim: Super Caimano Barista. It has been a while coming but we can now welcome the new grinder. Shall give it a good workout on Saturday to ready it for taking over the mainstay work for our espresso blend.
Extra capacity will be dedicated to other brew methods, decaf and single estates. Bliss.

Chemistry Lesson

At long last we took delivery of the micro burner for the Syphon after months of crossing the high seas.
Glad to report it works; a nifty little thing. Since the flame is adjustable you actually stand a chance to contol the brew temperature.

So no further delay and we set out to give it a try. Although it does take a little while to setup and prep, it is quite fun to work with. The result is a delicate almost tea like structured coffee. We intend to offer it regularly on Saturdays.
